The movement to keep daylight saving time all year long has been gaining momentum in recent years. Supporters of the change argue that it would provide more daylight hours in the evenings, which would be beneficial for businesses, recreation, and public safety.
Opponents of the change argue that it would disrupt sleep patterns and could lead to health problems. They also argue that it would be unfair to states that do not want to keep daylight saving time all year long.
It is still unclear whether the federal government will allow states to keep daylight saving time all year long. The current law requires states to change their clocks twice a year.
